TDBANKNORTH CENTER

The TD Banknorth Center will host its first ever concert this spring. The two acts to perform will be Ludacris and HelloGoodbye. The TD Banknorth Center was officially unveiled Jan 27, 2007. The center is a multi-purpose building that contains two separate sporting arenas, one for basketball and the other for hockey. It plays home to the Quinnipiac University Men’s and Women’s Hockey and Basketball Teams. This arena takes place for the Burt Kahn Court for basketball and the Northford Ice Pavilion for hockey. The TD Banknorth Center will be the “Crown Jewel” of the York Hill Campus. Officials hope that by the end of this year there will be dorms for student housing as well as a massive parking garage. Currently transportation is provided for students via the Quinnipiac University Shuttle System. In the future, Quinnipiac looks to expand and make an entire campus on York Hill, with the TD Banknorth being the main attraction.
